The Society seeks to chronicle, protect and enhance the heritage, character and environment of the Parish of Odiham and North Warnborough.

We publish two journals each year and run speaker evenings on local and interesting topics. At these events members meet and enjoy a glass of wine. Outings and a Christmas evening complete a busy annual programme of events.

A number of exciting projects are always on the go and we welcome volunteers who wish to become involved in serving our members and the community.

Have your say on Housing Developments in Hart

Hart District Council is preparing a new local plan, and is inviting views on where new homes should be built. It has published a Housing Development Options Paper which proposes five options for growth and wants to know which one you prefer, or whether there are any other options which they should consider.

"This is an important milestone in the preparation of our new Local Plan for Hart. It is the opportunity for the people of Hart to help shape the development of our district for the future decades. We know we will need to build homes for Hart people to live in, but we have to decide how we will accommodate them. Hart is our district; let us all be heard”.

The consultation documents are available at www.hart.gov.uk/local-plan. Please use the online survey on our consultations page www.hart.gov.uk/consultations for feedback. The consultation is open between 14 August and 5pm 10 October 2014.
