The Society seeks to chronicle, protect and enhance the heritage, character and environment of the Parish of Odiham and North Warnborough.

We publish two journals each year and run speaker evenings on local and interesting topics. At these events members meet and enjoy a glass of wine. Outings and a Christmas evening complete a busy annual programme of events.

A number of exciting projects are always on the go and we welcome volunteers who wish to become involved in serving our members and the community.

LATEST NEWS AND FORTHCOMING EVENTS

We extend best wishes and support to Steve Brown who is trailblazing a 1000 miles cycle ride that is now being adopted as the national Magna Carta Cycle Trail. He is delivering Magna Carta Anthem, commissioned by Odiham, to cathedrals around England and there will be a send off for him after the Sunday service at at All Saints on 20th July. Steve is also raising money for essential church maintenance - to donate please visit Just Giving and search for Odiham or simply click HERE.

LOCAL PLANNING APPLICATIONS

  • Our current Executive Committee has limited expertise, time and capacity to undertake and co-ordinate responses to local planning applications.  This situation can only change when a volunteer with the necessary motivation, capacity, experience and insight joins the Executive Committee.
  • Power lies with Hart District Council and members should make their views known by commenting on applications and by contacting the three district councillors.
  • Odiham Parish Council is a statutory consultee and members should make democracy work through their elected parish councillors.
